Your efforts to keep the ranges clean are appreciated by all club members. Don't bring glass bottles or household items to shoot at, keep it neat and pick up after yourself. Remember to please POLICE YOUR BRASS!
RIFLE AND PISTOL RANGE RULES:
- The ranges are to be used by members with paid up dues and range user fees only - Shooters must at all time conduct themselves on the range in a safe and courteous manner - No one under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol will be allowed to use the range - No alcoholic beverages allowed on the range - All applicable laws must be obeyed - An adult member must supervise all shooters under 16 years of age - No one under 12 years of age will be allowed to shoot any firearm (NYS Law) - Anytime someone is forward of the firing line all firearms are to be unloaded, action open placed on the bench, and not to be handled until the line is clear - Eye and hearing protection is required when shooting OR observing - Paper targets only - Any act that causes damage to the range equipment (excluding target backers) is forbidden - All semiautomatic centerfire rifles are limited to 5 rounds loaded at a time - All rifles are to be fired from the shoulder, no shooting from the hip. No fast draw pistol shooting allowed - The ranges are member maintained - pull your targets, police your brass and pick up any trash on the range. The ranges are to be left as clean or cleaner than you found them - Anyone not following the rules will be asked to leave the range, and may forfeit their membership - Any member who witnesses any breach of the rules is required to notify the directors - All ranges (rifle and pistol) are closed during scheduled trap and skeet shoots.
